Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have reportedly reached a temporary custody agreement.

Ever since the former couple announced their divorce after seven years of marriage, the stars have been struggling to see eye-to-eye on the terms of their family situation as they go their separate ways. Now, it appears they’re meeting each other halfway.

Despite Cavallari accusing Cutler of withholding money to prevent her from buying another home in Tennessee amid their split, the pair have seemingly put aside their differences for the sake of their children — at least for now.

“Kristin and Jay have made some progress in moving forward with the divorce,” a source told E! News. “They are now agreeing that Jay will allow Kristin to purchase the home she has been looking at since November of last year when they started having serious issues, which prompted her to start looking in the first place.”

Speaking of the reported custody arrangement, the insider added: “In exchange for that, they are agreeing to split the time with their children, one week on and one week off. They are having the kids stay in the home and Kristin will stay a week, then Jay will stay a week.”

The Very Cavallari star had initially requested primary custody of their kids. With this temporary deal, Cavallari and the former NFL player — who share sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4 — will each have their children every other week after the reality star settles into her new home.

A previous source revealed lifestyle differences have been a point of contention for the former lovers, who had been “arguing a lot” about their disagreements over the years. While maintaining an amicable co-parenting presence in the spotlight, the 33-year-old TV personality and 36-year-old athlete’s divorce court documents as of late have revealed the process has been more messier than not.
